About Us
Trails West Elementary was built in 1980 and has since gone through several renovations. In the summer of 2010, the entire interior of the school was "gutted" and reconfigured to become more efficient, more organized, more "green", more technologically advanced, and more conducive to learning.
Creating A Culture Of Learning
At Trails West Elementary, we strive to provide students with the curriculum they need to be successful learners and caring community members. These supports are facilitated through universal ( school-Wide ), targeted ( small Group ), and individualized ( one-on-one ) programs. Our goal is to address social-emotional learning, to inspire students To THINK, to LEARN, to ACHIEVE and to CARE.
Trails West is a PBIS school, which means we strive to teach children's behavior to expectations, reinforce students to do the right thing and educate students weekly with POP Star Awards and quarterly as STARS
