Message from the Principal

Hello Mustangs!

 

My name is Kait Whitaker and I am honored to serve the Trails West community as principal. As I have transitioned into this position, I have spent time learning about the school and the community. The message I have heard repeatedly is the strong support, from the community, of the staff and the school. Community partnership is something I value tremendously. I believe together, through strong collaboration and partnership, we can make Trails West the best school for our students.

 

We welcome you to join in our many community events that will occur throughout the year and invite you to volunteer in our classrooms. If volunteering is something you are interested in doing, please see our website or reach out to your child’s teacher for more information. We would love to have you!

 

At Trails West, our students are STARS which stands for:

We spend a lot of time focusing on these traits with our students and celebrate their successes as often as possible. We pride ourselves in educating the whole child which means we support their learning in areas beyond just academics. Our drive is to encourage our students to become citizens who positively impact our community.
